bitworkers project of mining bitcoin in Brazil with alternative energy

We have a project to allow mining of bitcoin in Brazil. Here is a sketch of the main idea to interested parties.

1. We will use alternative energy

bitworkers is centered in brazilian southeast region. More specifically, in the state of Minas Gerais. In 2010, the central energy company, CEMIG, released a complete Atlas of Wind Activity in the state pointing out really high prospect regions to install wind turbines able to produce eolic energy. bitworkers project aims to build a small powerplant to fuel bitcoin miners. These mills will provide the ability to generate all the energy required for mining and, in times of possible bitcoin devaluation, direct sell of production to the market preventing investors from losing money in any circumstance.

2. We will crowdfund the mining project

Our goal is to provide minimum shares based on the unit price for a bitcoin miner and cost for installing the powerplant. ROI will be between 3-5 years and will provide very high profits through approximatelly 15+ years.

3. We plan on using refrigerated containers to harbour the machines

Acquiring and managing refrigerated containers is quite easy and safe. Also the use of them provide refrigeration to a farm of miners as well as security by locking it in.

Interested parties may directly contact me for explanations. We are currently writing the project.

Why not just use geothermal? There's a lot less maintenance involved and a much smaller chance of damage from poor weather.

Hi @jdc, in Brazil, geothermal is not accessible. We have very good solar and wind potentials. Both also have very cheap maintenance costs.

@bitworkers

I understand that high temperature geothermal isn't availible in most of the country, but low temp could work just fine. You aren't powering a city here, a few Mw will do the job.

I believe we haven't got the technology available. I will look it up anyway. Thank you very much for the tips.
Cheers,
@bitworkers

Great idea I have solar on our house the electric bill is only $130 every 3 months:-)

Thanks @realdeal - our plan is to crowdfund this project, if you're interested, follow us here on steemit, I'll be posting how it evolves.
Cheers,
@bitworkers

The idea is good and I am interested help fund. But how do you intend to deal with the high prices of hardware in Brazil?
