HOW TO MINE CRYPTOCURRENCIES USING MOBILE #1. MINERGATE
INTRODUCTION
I would take you through a three series post dealing with how to mine cryptocurrencies using an android powered smartphone. This came as a suggestion from @bitfairy in a post I made yesterday :MINING WITH A SMART PHONE
I happen to have endulged in this mining practice some few months back, in my quest to explore how to earn free cryptocurrencies.
This three day post would deal with three different apps that I used to mine during by *adventure
- First Post : Mining cyptos on this mobile using minergate app
- Second Post: Mining cyptos on this mobile using crypto miner app
- Third Post: Mining cyptos on this mobile using ARM miner app
Warning: Mining withe your smartphone can have adverse effects on the phones performance, battery and it's lifespan.
MINING CRYPTOCURRENCIES ON MOBILE USING MINERGATE APP
Minergate is a mining platform which provides easy to use systems. They have a mobile and also a desktop app that can run in the background whiles you do other stuff (they also have cloud mining contracts).
STEPS
- First you need to create a Minergate account, click here.
- Get the mobile app from the app store. You can get You the Desktop version here.
- Sign in with your credentials in first step
- Select the coin you want want of mine and click start, voila.... Bob is your uncle.
- Make sure to enable two-factor authentication in settings to reduce vulnerability to hackers
- Some crypto assets have been delisted from exchangers before you make your choice of coin to mine

I used minergate on my laptop and I was mainly mining monero but I really didn't make much from the activity. It was making my laptop heat up and I stopped it because the returns were insignificant and not worth it.
Yeah, I had the same problem. I comparing cost of internet data, electricity and stuff...
But if u have those things at cool prices.... It's OK.... And monero difficulty is high... I used to do bcn nd aeon and stuff like that
the very thing is what we lack in africa that is making disadvantaged
this is very true. it has been a bad thing for africa, i hope we get through it soon
I want something more universal and easy for mining STEEM
steem kind ou used to be easy to mine as in being a witness when it started out but now, its quiet difficult to do that now. as in you have to get to like firt 100 to earn some real vaalue
I tried searching but it see only eobot has an option like that..... And it's kind of cloud mining
this platform is one of the great platform and i like the free daily claim and faucets
