The cupboard was bare

It's not as awful as it looks or sounds. I got a couple of cups out of the bottom of this tin, that'll keep me going till I get to the shops later :)

There's something in here though about living minimally without large stocks, and the discipline of not having what you want immediately that you want it. It's a good practice, but surprisingly hard to get a grip on. My first reaction is disappointment that something's run out again. For the time being, our shops are fully stocked and despite hand-wringing from all around, I think there'll still be some coffee for me to buy at the same price I bought it last week.

All part of the process, stuff comes from somewhere, passes through, goes somewhere else.

I'm always trying to 'think' about living minimally but it's not always easy @lloyddavis and the Brexit thing must be annoying. I'm not sure it'll happen. Actually when I was in UK in December my friends were stressed and said, 'should we stock up?' and I said, "It won't happen. I mean not on the dates they say" and well here we are, Halloween? ...
