Minecraft
My son is literally obsessed with this freaking game and I'm okay with that it's frustrating to me because he has it for every console he owns which means alot of money however it's a great building tool.
It helps with his gaming skills but also with careful monitoring the live aspect of the game has built new friendships and released some tension and anxiety so it's been a win win

SIDE Note
Originally was to be a video of his creation however it's not letting me upload so if anyone knows how please let me know thanks in advance
We were, what might be called, obsessive MUD players prior to my daughter being public school age in the early 90's. Because MUDs are text based gaming, by the time we were officially home schooling my daughter could read, write (could hen peck type before having motor skills to hold pens or pencils properly) and had a basic understanding of LPC programming.
Games can be wonderful learning tools, as well as being fun. 😎
@novacadian that's beautiful I think technology is very important to the full growth of a child ,my oldest son as pictured is very much into gaming and animation so for Christmas he got a drawing tablet he's always on it and his focus is something to to omg now my youngest son (4 yrs old) has learned from his brother and is starting kid friendly programing on YouTube .It honestly amazes me how the boys have been raised the same but are polar opposites.
Sent an encrypted memo with a link to one of my daughter's recent posts (in case she would not appreciate our connection to be made public) to see where things have progressed for her with her art. She is making a decent, second, income creating clothing and avatars on Second Life.
Unfortunately I'm still learning the ropes so I don't know how to access that I can talk to my business partner I'm sure she knows how I look forward to seeing it though and possibly connect with her if she's interested
