We've all been lied to... repeatedly. Usually by #good people who mean well, but were from a different era.

We've been told that #learning is study and memorization and regurgitating facts. Doing this well gets you good grades, earns entrance to #college, and will give you a bright future.

Only it doesn't.

Just ask your local #barista if that college degree is paying the bills better than a local plumber making six figures a years and working when he chooses.

The real world doesn't care about your degrees, history, #education, race, creed or politics. It cares about #results.

Can you generate positive results based on what you know? Results always speak louder than credentials.

In the modern world we have to know how to learn quickly + apply the knowledge to some end.

The number of locksmithing #books you've read are irrelevant, if you can't rekey a #lock and serve someone.

Look. See. Move.

I wanted to rekey 6 locks so they all had the same key. I'd never done it, nor did I know the inner workings of a lock... but that's no impediment given today's tech.

A few YouTube videos and a quick trip to the store later, I #learned how.

My #learning is evident by the fact that I now have 6 locks all #keyed the same and working perfectly.

My credentials are my results... and if I wanted to, I could offer this #service to others.
