Minds.com - A Facebook-like Social Media Platform With Crypto Rewards

I have moved all my content away from the now centralized and controlled Steem blockchain to the decentralized Hive blockchain.
Do you already have an account in Mind?
Sounds very interesting, I also want to register.
You did not mention the Upvote system, does Vote depend on SP size like Steemit?
About Facebook, which wants to give rewards to users, the issue has long been heard after the sale of user data events for political purposes. Maybe Zuck wants to dismiss the issue and keep the user fb.
No, votes are all equal and have always the same value. Your contributions score is devided by the total network score to calculate your daily payouts.
ha ha
I registered,
Nice to meet you😀😀
Brilliant piece, @flauwy.
Here's the interview on Keiser Report that brought me to Minds about 6 weeks ago:
While Steemit is better in having some options like html markup in posts, Minds gives far better visibility, has groups, it's own simple MESSENGER with it's own separate password for more privacy and doesn't limit upvotes. I've been on there about 6 weeks and have nearly triple the subscribers with 128,000 views as followers in twice the time being active on steemit. Without investing anything there, I've made more than I have, investing about $600 on steemit. Look me up at PositiveSynergy
This was brought to my attention the other day and it sounds really interesting .. I don't think Disgracebook will muddy the waters too much, it's a wholly different beast and a very different audience to #steemit .. indeed you won't find much facebook love on here and I feel there is a growing anger and as such divergence from any platform that's associated with the system. We shall see how it plays out ...
I use facebook to promote Steemit and my work where appropriate. Facebook is extremely effective for reaching people.
too many options ! ! !
Thanks for sharing this @flauwy. I love it...we are entering the Age of Abundance.
So many ways to earn crypto and we are still in the early stages.
Signed up using your link my friend. Hope you get the referral fee.
Minds social network has been online for years but now that they are rebranding their site and reward system with crypto currency I think they will be sustainable and valuable in the long term . I don't believe that they can compete with steemit but they will compliment each other moving forward
this does look very promising @flauwy especially if we can get double use of our articles by posting them on minds. thanks so much for letting us know about this!
Thank you so much for this information.
You mean you can post in minds and utopian.io at the same time?
But how?
Thanks in advance.
I'm on minds for some weeks now. I use it lightweight mostly for photos. The app is good. No limits on likes, so you get it more easily. The daily rewards are quite modest :) . But it has potential for mass adoption. Just subscribed to you :)
Based on my view, if it actually started 2011 almost the time bitcoin started, i think it should be heard by many people but I don't think much people know about because for me, this is the first time I am hearing of minds.com, others might have but I have not.
If it will competite with steem ?
I don't really think it can over run steem because steem is just barely two years and it has gone this far. There are other social platforms coming up like sola, enlte, swiftdemand etc but I don't think they can stand steem for now.
Talking about Facebook, Facebook has it's own uniqueness and if Facebook should own their blockchain, it will be an added advantage to the people on the steem platform.
I don't know why I am in support of steem platform, maybe it has being my source of feeding myself in school since January but that is not really it but there is this confidence I have in it but that is if there is a way of rewarding good writers. Many come and leave frustrated because what they heard before joining the steem platform is not what they are seeing and the more people are frustrated out of steem platform, it might in a way affect it's growth.
