One of the worse thing to do is divide it to 2 and put 50 red to one bowl and 50 black to other. you would get 50% chance. So we need to try to get better results with divide them differently. To get the highest chance to find red marble, you need to put 1 red marble to the first bowl and you will have 49 red marbles and 50 black marbles in the second bowl.

The chance of getting the red for the first bowl is 100 percent.
The chance of getting the red for the second bowl is 49 out of 99.

To calculate the chance of getting red we will calculate the chance of the first one as 99 out of 99 which is 100 percent.

we need to add the chance of two bowl and divide it to 2 which is
99/99 + 49/99 = 148/99. when we dvide the result to 2 the real result is 74/99. We can say it as 74.7474% chance of getting the red.
