If you change the outlook on things...

in #mindfulness8 years ago

People take many things very superficially. One of the problems is the narrowness of the mind, to which we unreservedly believe. We rely on our logic, which is entirely limited. It can not even grasp the size of the universe, and we reckon on it like it is the definition of truth.

To instinct, which is our most powerful sense, we believe on occasions.
To eyes, which are our most imperfect tool, we believe completely.
Eye can't even see its own lid, which is the closest thing.

The problem is that the mind is tricking is into understanding things, but we are in fact falling in to the trap of ego. It is better to think that you don't know much than to believe you know everything. That way, you become an ignoramus.

Many think they know gratitude and that they are utterly grateful, and then they fail the test daily. When you don't feel the best, it means only one thing - you are ungrateful. And I always enjoy the cognition that is fair that we feel bad because of it. Recently I read a wisdom: "You can't find a reason to be grateful? In that case find you pulse!"

Is there a bigger reason for gratitude?

Second wisdom, which we do not understand, but almost everyone supposedly knows: "Fortune favors the bold." Who is actually living it? If we boldly set off, luck will follow. It does not work the other way around! When you jump, a net will appear just to safely land you. But what do we do? We peak from the edge thinking when will that net emerge, so that we can finally jump. Fortunately, it does not work that way.

Fortune does, indeed, favor the bold. Like a shadow. You can get a confirmation from everyone who experimented with this truth. This is also a test of faith. I've seen grateful and enlightened ones, who are everything except the things they are claiming.

A continuity of peace is necessary as a confirmation that you have truly did understand something. Not only in the times when everything is going smoothly and easily, but in the times when there's thunder and lightning all around. Nature does not like summer more than winter. It accepts all seasons knowing how important their role is in the process of creation.

Wisdom that we understand the least is: "The point is in the journey."
And not only to Maldives, but also to the mud.

Maybe that is why the pigs are considered as intelligent beings.

"When you change the outlook on things,
the things you observe also change."

Thank you for reading.
