Thanks for your great article! It seems to me that the advertisement industry is working on all sorts of levels, such as also intellectual levels. They seem to have a system for those who tend not to see behind a brainwash-strategy or who are not interested in being resistant to it (like catchy tunes, go with or create a mass trend, like what you said), and even systems for those who analyse public posts / announcements in order to identify subliminal messages, like those ads or expressions that make you see yourself as part of an elite who can't be messed with, someone above mediocre (whatever this is).
So it's always nice to read that someone is sensitive for that subject :) Keep it up!

Yes indeed they are working on all sorts of levels and the tools at their disposal are becoming more and more sophisticated. We need to be aware, advertising and marketing is an unavoidable consequence of a free market economy, we just need to guard against being corralled into acting against our will.
