Episode 3: Belief: The Hardest Ice To Break

Paradigm is the multitude of thought habits that represents your beliefs. To be able to change, you must change your paradigm and the only way to do that is to alter the belief system in your subconscious mind by implanting new ideas. Remember, one of the characteristics of the conscious mind is its ability to create. You can create or originate ideas in your conscious mind by thinking about it over and over again. Repetition is a powerful tool that increases the probability of an idea to be ingrained to the subconscious level. The more powerful it gets, as it becomes powerful by practice, the old conditioning or belief will slowly fade, until it is completely replaced by a new concept.

If all your life you were trained to believe that you are no good, it already marked into your subconscious mind and affected your actions and circumstances. You can definitely change that by implanting new ideas over and over again. The more emotions involved in supplanting a new idea, the more power it gets. Emotion is the most powerful tool that gives fuel to the thinking mind. When you say to yourself, you’re confident, you must believe it with a full blast of emotion.

Emotion, repetition and time are your allies in implanting new ideas to your subconscious mind. You can do it sparingly during your most comfortable time or deliberately by meditation. Meditation is another powerful tool in changing your subconscious belief, because it is empowered by concentration. When you meditate, you set up a specific time of the day when there is no destruction. You are focusing your thoughts on a specific cause. You are learning and continuously trying to discipline your thought to be centered and focused on the desired idea. There is also a hypnotic power in auto suggestion done when the brain is in the alpha state. The more relaxed the brain is, the better it receives new information or suggestion.

The alpha state is when the brain is in a pre-sleep mode. It is when the conscious mind is slowly drifting off, losing its capacity to work on its functions like creating, accepting and rejecting. It is also a time when the subconscious is taking over the conscious mind. Since, the subconscious has the ability to only accept information, the inducement of a new idea will be a lot effective.

An outside change would not mean anything, if there’s no alteration from the subconscious mind. The very reason why it is important to keep the subconscious mind healthy and positive is the fact that, it is the part of the human body that serves as a rampart of the universe. Your subconscious mind has a direct contact with the universe. Whatever frequency it vibrates, the universe has a sense of it and in turn, will be reciprocated accordingly.
