TIL about the million dollar challenge of the James Randy Foundation

Today I learned about the supernatural million dollar challenge of the James Randy Foundation. The challenge, founded in 1964 by magician James Randy, offered to pay a million dollars to anyone who could display supernatural ability in laboratory conditions. Thousands of people tried their luck in the challenge, but no one won. In 2015, when Randy retired from the fund, the challenge was closed to other participants.
