Millennials with their Smartphones and Social Media | Common Mistakes

Nowadays, millennials are very attouched with thier smartphones and social media. Some uses it correctly but others uses it alarmingly. Smartphones are a neccesity in modern everyday life and it is the best way to connect and communicate to your loved ones from afar.
Millennials are more engaged with their smartphones than they do communicate personally. They interact with smartphone more than anything and anyone else.

Now, here are some mitakes of milennials using their smartphones and social media.

Instead of praying and giving thanks to God first thing in the morning, some often prefer to use their smartphones and check their social media notifications and replying to messages.

It has also been a habit of some millennials to take a photo of their food and post it on social media instead of giving thanks to God with the blessings in front of them.

We have been dependent on smartphones and social media or shall I say, we are addicted. Sometimes, we depend our happiness on social media like when we have a lot of likes on our posted photo especially when it reaches a hundres likes, shares and comments.

Some millennials are fond of sharing and posting their personal and private life (which can harm you) in social media using smartphones instead of keeping it confidential. Instead of having a sincere talk, others prefer to post on social media their misunderstanding and make someone ashamed or embarrassed.

At the end of the day before going to sleep, we sometimes use our smartphones as "sleeping pill" and fell asleep while scrolling to our social media instead of asking for guidance to our Lord.

While at times, smartphones and social media can make life so much more convenient even if sometimes it has a negative result on us. Using it everyday isn't a bad thing as long as you are using it correctly and knowing what is the right thing to do and as long as you are not abusing it. We just have to limit ourselves in using it.
