I took a moment to have a look at your account. I note you post single memes without extensive commentary. While I am confident there are folks that will like that and throw upvotes your way (I like memes, and have followed other folks that post good ones), you should note the difference between that kind of post and what @freebornangel posts.

He posts several original memes, and extensive commentary. There's usually an overarching message all his posts work to support. He's not just trying to get his readers to crack a quick smile, he's trying to convince them to change the world. I'm not making a moral judgment, but in truth each of his readers do make that judgement, and they find his posts superable.

His point in his response is also very true. He has been here longer than I have, is smarter, better looking, smells good, and has generated an audience after years of commenting on other's blogs and posting his own blogs daily for a long time. It takes time for people that want to follow you to find you and pick you out of the herd. Commenting substantively on someone elses blog, as you do here, is a good way to let folks know you're here - as long as you do comment substantively, rather than just spam.

I hope that helps you understand why it seems like the world is ignoring you completely when you are just starting out on Steem. They are. They don't know you're here. In time, if you produce content people want to upvote, you will find your audience, one member at a time.
