RE: Starting Strong - Army Journalist - Season 3 Episode 3
I think you put out a great video blog. I want to give you a little help with getting noticed more. There is a Discord channel that is Veteran specific where you may wish to network. Below is a direct link.
https://discord.gg/UpcSGPT
The Veteran hosting the server is @rakkasan, a soldier and disabled combat Veteran. You may wish to introduce yourself and get to know folks on the channel.
The link provided below will give you a list of all the Veterans and Military people that have been identified on Steem:
https://steemit.com/@chairborne/followed
There is also a useful networking tool you may find here which tracks all posts by Veterans/Military on a daily basis it is featured pretty much daily on this Veteran's blog:
@guiltyparties
You might want to visit their blogs, maybe upvote a few and make pertinent comments that refer to the blog itself. I would not promote your blog on the comment too much. It is pretty much considered bad form on this platform. I also would not ask for upvotes. As I mentioned above, networking is important and pertinent comments. Your comments may even be upvoted which is great! It is not necessary to upvote in order to comment.
Some advice, get to know the people first. Do not push your channel too much. The best way to get noticed and increase your audience is through networking.
I hope this will be of some help getting your blog noticed here on the Steem platform. Also try using the veteran tag first. military is not as popular a tag. If you are a Veteran or Military (which makes you a Veteran by default if you have done at least 90 days in the US Military) the veteran tag is appropriate.
We'd be happy to have @allwarriornet get involved here on steemit. Please come by our Discord server sometime to meet some other vets here on Steemit.
Thanks for the comments! And Rakkasan.....I'm a 2-time 101st guy myself. Bastogne. Thanks for the help fellas!
