The USA vs. China - Which Country Has Better Guys At Playing Robots?

in #military6 years ago (edited)

Here's the watch changing at Arlington National Cemetery.

I'd say that's a very complicated routine executed to perfection! I wonder how long it takes those guys to perfect it?

Here's a few thousand Chinese troops in a parade honoring the founding of the People's Republic. This is the flag raising ceremony. The way those soldiers - all specialists at doing parades no doubt - execute their moves in unison is nothing short of astonishing. Arnold Schwartzenegger in his youth would've met his match in these guys!

I have to say I have hard time deciding which ceremony I liked better. The Chinese were damn good! What they did was a lot simpler than what the American honor guards did but it was incredibly well executed. That said, I don't particularly like the idea of people moving en masse like that despite liking the aesthetic aspect of it. The American honor guard did introduce himself and communicated with the audience asking the people to observe certain customs.
