Appreciation Post: MimiSmartyPants is Finally Off Delegation
Hey Steemians,
Excellent news from me today !! Thanks to @soundwavesphoton competition, I won some Steem and finally had enough to get off delegation!!! Woohooo!!! It's been only about a month and a half of being really active, but it felt like a really long journey!! I have met so many cool peeps along the way, and this is just a little post to give thanks to those that helped me along the way!
Giving Thanks to My Steem Heroes
It All Began with @Chekohler
3 months ago, @Chekohler introduced me to Steemit! Telling me about this fresh new platform, that pays you to blog and rewards you for sharing your opinion. I had a look, thought it could be fun and registered. After what felt like an eternity, my account got approved, and the legend of @mimismartypants started to unfold!
A bit hesitant at first, but Che provided so much support and hand holding. Answering all my questions like "What is SP?", "Why does no one like my posts?" "Discord?". If it weren't for his support and guidance, I would have probably abandoned ship a long time ago! Thanks to him, I'm a bit of an addict! Thanks so much @Chekohler! You are a true legend!!
Then Miss @Dreemsteem Stalked at It All Exploded
I like to think she stalked me, but the truth of the matter I probably stalked her! And being the open and forthcoming person she is, saw something strange in me and of course had to adopt me!
Funny it all started with a post about the razor, which led me to start a convo with her and follow her. We engaged we laughed, and she recruited me into the @welcomewagon, with her fellow crew @bluefinstudios and @saffisara! They schooled me for about a week and let me back into the wild!
That was 3 weeks, and I'm still meeting new peeps in the wagon!! All I can say is they are a crazy bunch and all probably need therapy, but then again, so do I!! So it Feels like Home!! Big Thanks to the @Welcomewagon team for taking me in and of course @Dreemsteem being the coolest and showing me the ropes!! Much love to all you guys!
I Couldn't Have Done I Without Gifts and The Prizes
For weeks I felt like I was going nowhere slowly! Until I won some competitions and some cool peeps gifted me with some great tools! Here's a shoutout to all of you!

I have to say a BIG thank you to you....
I'm so glad that you encouraged her to come to Steemit! And helped her in the beginning when it was rocky! We lose so many AMAZING people that way - because they're this shining light that gets dimmed more and more while they wander and get lost on Steemit!

You’re too kind! I’ve had to learn how to steemit the hard way since I didn’t know anyone on the platform and building an audience and getting payouts was tough so I realize the struggle! I’ve tried to recruit people to steemit and don’t want them to suffer the way I did! All about sharing and leaning and growing the community for the greater good!

I can honestly say, no one has ever described me as Lemmon head candy, but I like it!!! LOL, I also generally choose the green jelly sweets in the bags, so I guess its kind of a sign (or I'm just looking for connections here!).
WW family definitely rocks. Although I'm pretty confident the therapist will give us our money back and a lot extra just to stay away!
oh my gosh - the spearmint leaves?!?!?!?!?!
they are the BEST!!!!!!!!! but i get migraines when i eat them (or spearmint gum) i can't believe it... like spearmint??? why!!!!

Always encouraging to see success stories. I can personally confirm, the thing that makes Steemit really great is the super active community. Especially the folks running the @Welcomewagon.
