Maybe we should buy Microsoft shares (they increased their dividend)
I currently don't have any shares, but I am thinking about buying some Microsoft shares. Okay, I will probably not buy any Microsoft shares, or at least not in the near future, because their price has been increased, and it will probably further increase after this news.
Increased dividend, new share repurchase program
I did not even knew so far that they have dividend, but they do.
They announced that they increased their dividend from $0.46 to $0.51 USD for every share. This is a $0.05 USD (or 11%) increase. They also have a new share repurchase program.
A few words on the price of 1 Microsoft share
The price of 1 Microsoft share was around only $20 USD in the beginning of 2009. It was around $40 USD in 2015. But the income and the profit of the company has been increased so much that nowadays the price of 1 Microsoft share is about $140 USD.
Probably no one will read (nor reply to this) blog post, because I usually don't get real, human comments under my Steem blog posts (except for dPoll polls), but I am still asking, in case of anyone read this. Do you currently have any Microsoft shares? Are you planning to buy some?

I am currently not familiar with Bitshares (I have not used it so far), but this sounds interesting. I wonder whether (and how) the users would receive the dividends in that case. But I would still prefer Steem Engine. Buying a Microsoft (or any other share) with Steem (for example on the Steem Engine) would be more fun and more interesting. And the value of the Steem Engine Token (ENG) would probably also increase.
Thank you for commenting, by the way. Nowadays I rarely receive real, human comments under my Steem blog posts. The only exception is dPoll. I (and many other people) get good interaction under my/their dPoll polls.
