RE: Greetings From Microsoft

in #microsoft7 years ago

To be truthful, I got the Creators Update several weeks ago through MSDN onto one of my laptops. Being a Developer that lives with both feet in the Microsoft world it was a necessity. Especially since I wanted to play around with some of the newest Visual Studio 2017/Creators Update features.

I am going to let the remaining Windows 10 machines update in the normal queue.

I have not had any issues with Win10 Creators Update so far. We'll see what the future holds. For the average computer user, Windows and Apple are still the most common and most usable environments. With the new Net Core initiative I can develop for several platforms using a single development environment that includes the finest suite of tools available (Visual Studio 2017) in the IT scene.

Yes, I drank the cool-aid....and its been a wonderful journey over the last 30+ years. I am going to have another sip :P

Thanks a lot for your long answer, I appreciate it.

Well, if you live in a Microsoft world ...

To be honest, Windows 10 is quite a decent piece of software. And Visual Studio too. I recently downloaded Community Edition and will check it out. I did some programming in C# years ago and I wish to refresh my knowledge.

Have a great day.
