BABY STEPS

I looked at her in the cot and I wondered why she was loved over me. It started when mom's belly started getting bigger. They forgot about me since then.

First, it was the food that was served late. Then, I had to dress myself up. They cared less.

This morning, I watched in excitement as she made baby steps towards the open reservoir.

Soon, I'll win their attention again.
