RE: A mind-bending adventure of what we can learn from Michael Jackson

ya!! it's not always intentional, sometimes it is or partly is, sometimes I'm just posting the low content thing and then it goes there -_-

well whatever it may be, the content i have read is good and worth the time i spend on it. makes me think.

the black hats can scale back all the way, and then in turn there isn't as much need for the white hats spending energy countering them.

i feel that unfortunately like us, who want decentralized systems, there are plenty of those who want centralized systems - not just black hats but those that prefer black hats over the nerds. and centralized in terms of ownership under the legal framework - that leads to power and money, not something simply validated by 5 to 10 nodes.

another thing I think about is when you get rid of "intellectual property" i.e. people being paranoid of how to make money off of their art, it's easier for nerds to be artistic.

I certainly think there will certainly be less centralization in the future, since techies are building that world now, but just as there are people who prefer ordering food online, there will be people who enjoy going to a grocery retailer to pick food as it is a meditative experience for them. but yeah, definitely, i feel people who do not prefer centralized systems will have many more avenues in the future and there will be a platform for everyone who want to avoid obeying to the elite and succumbing to their rules. YouTube being centralized did that for so many people. I wonder what DTube or something similar can achieve.

awesome! I really appreciate that, and appreciate all your great comments and feedback.

ya, there are a lot of people who like the control structure and want things to stay how they are and all that. I don't think they matter too much tho, because the decentralized solutions are more powerful. so we don't necessarily need that many people, they get quickly convinced when it's practical and they see the practical incentive.
