ICC Cricket World Cup 2019
ICC cricket world cup 2019 will be hosted in England and Wales from 30th May to 14th July. Not very far only approximately one year away exciting.
England and Wales got hosting rights when the withdrew from the bidding of 2015 ICC cricket world cup in April 2006. Let talk about the first match which will be held infamous The Oval ground and biggest match final will be played at Lord’s ground. England and Wales got 5th opportunity to host cricket world cup in past they host in 1975, 1979, 1983 and 1999 world cups.
Let’s discuss the most important part of the tournament that is the format of the world cup. The format is a single group that will contain 10 teams. Each time will play against other nine teams then, in the end, top four teams will qualify for semi-finals.
According to this pattern, 45 matches will be played and then 4 teams will qualify to semi-finals. In 1992 ICC world cup similar format was used.
