Namaste Tribe! We built WazirX P2P to ensure that nothing stands in your way of trading crypto smoothly in India. The next step is to take it a notch higher. We’ve been working on adding more credibility to P2P, and we now proudly present to you: XID!
What is XID?
XID, a.ka., WazirX ID is a username unique to every trader on WazirX, and it will change how you trade on P2P!

We’d been observing our community members trying to collaborate with each other on Twitter, and various Telegram groups in order to fulfil each others’ orders on P2P. Our team got together (over some Red Bull, and coffee) and started brainstorming on how to help you find your sellers/buyers in the most seamless way possible. We ideated, agreed, disagreed, and finally had our eureka moment. And thus was born, XID!

XID will give more power to you on WazirX P2P and allow you to match with your preferred seller/buyer.

How do I get my XID?
Go to P2P on Web, and Android (in “Funds” section). iOS users, please be patient!
Create your own XID under Buy/Sell section

How can I use XID?
You can use XID to your advantage to speed up your P2P order execution!

Case 1: If you know a seller and want to deal with them directly
Add your friend’s XID while placing a buy order on P2P
If your friend has a sell order open, then you both will instantly match
Your friend can place a sell order even after you place a buy order, and WazirX will match that order with you first.
Case 2: If you want to find a seller quickly
Place a USDT buy order on WazirX P2P
Go to Telegram channels, WhatsApp groups, or Forums where crypto traders are active
Ask if there are any USDT sellers and share your XID
Sellers will add your XID as “Preferred Buyer” when placing their USDT sell order on WazirX
If either the buyer or the seller add the other’s XID on WazirX P2P, it will match both with each other, and allow them to trade like a boss!
With the help of XID:
👉 You get to choose your preferred seller or buyer while buying or selling crypto respectively

👉 Since you both are voluntarily dealing with each other, there are very less chances of a dispute happening

👉 If you deal with each other regularly, you don’t need to waste time by adding more beneficiaries
