Vpn is virtual private network is a connection method used to add security and privacy to public and private network.

I will illustrate in very simple manner.

Suppose you are operating wifi of your college and you can't access some sites because the admistration of college block those sites if you open that site it will automatically get blocked because the isp (internet service provider) will detect that sites and you can't open that site.

Vpn will provide you a tunnel which will dump the ips of your network which you are using and automatically the site will open vpn encrypt the data and ips of your connection will not detect it because vpn will send your data to vps (virtual private server ) where the data is automatcially goes through vpn to vps simply it is fooling ips (internet service provider) suppose you open google.com and your ips is blocked it if you open with vpn. Vpn will send it to vps server and ips will think that it is not going to google.com it is connecting to vps server which can be anywhere where in the world it is upon you which country vpn you have selected Hope you like the post thank you.
