Now in this blog i will share the Case Study about the Fortis Healthcare.

 Overview of Fortis

◆Fortis Healthcare Limited (FHL) is a chain of specialist hospitals in India.
◆It has been one of the largest healthcare company operating in india having over 28 hospitals ,heart command center and a satellite centers with total bed capacity of 3,300.
◆Along with this,these hospitals also have Multi-Surgery facilities.
◆They are also capable of providing heart care,neuroscience ,renal care ,orthopedics ,maternity care etc .

   Establishment 

◆FHl was founded by two brother named Mr.Malvinder Mohan Singh and Mr.Shivinder Mohan Singh in 1996,but their commercial operations began in 2001.

 Acquirement 

◆ In 2010, Fortis Healthcare bought a 23.9% stake in Singapore's Parkway Holdings Ltd.
◆Fortis Memorial Research Institute, Gurgaon (FMRI) is a flagship hospital of the Fortis Healthcare Limited. FMRI is a multi speciality quaternary care hospital.
◆Fortis sold its stake to Malaysia's Khazanah Nasional on 27 July 2010.

    Stocks

◆It is traded at National Stock Exchange (NSE) and Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE).
