Google have been launching it's Android update every year. This year it's going to be launched on 20 August according to some leaks and rumors.

Android P is going to be Android Biggest update because of some amazing features that's really going to change our Android experience. Let's have a look..

I. Android P could help us use our phone less:
Android P features a new dashboard that will tell us, for how many minutes we have used our phone, how many notifications we have received, and for how long we have used each app. We can also set time limits on app usage. If we set a half-hour time limit on Instagram , then app will pause after 30 minutes of usage and its icon will turn grayscale.

II. Do Not Disturb mode will now justifie name:
Another feature of Android P is "Wind down." That will Specify bedtime of our phone, the phone will automatically go into DND mode, becoming entirely grayscale (we can still use it).
On turning DND mode on, notifications will fully disappear and won't show on the lock screen or always-on display. Only the contacts we have white listed will be reached out.

III. Android P wouldn't bother us with unnecessary notifications:
Android P will prompt us to disable notifications that we usually swipe away. we can configure work apps separately from regular apps.
We can also now long press a notification to get to that app's notification settings directly.

IV. Android P will revamps core navigation of phone:
Android P will support iPhone like gesture navigation control. There will be a pill-shaped Home button, the back button only shows up in apps, and no Recent Apps button at all. Swipe half to go to an overview of an open app and full swipe up to go to the app tray. These gesture controls will work even if we are not on the home screen.

V. Powering UI with AI:
Android P features a new AI functionality called Actions. They are deep linked to apps that can be accessed from anywhere on the phone.
Actions will predict things we might want to do, say text a friend or re-order food and puts direct links for those tasks in front of us.
