Muktinath, tour place of Heaven !!!

Muktinath is the one of the most famous temple of Nepal in all around the world. Many of the tourist comes to nepal to visit the muktinath temple and it is also famous for treking. Muktinath is a sacred place for both Hindus and Buddhists located in Muktinath Valley at an altitude of 3,710 meters at the foot of the Thorong La mountain pass (part of the Himalayas) in Mustang, Nepal. The site is close to the village of Ranipauwa, which is sometimes mistakenly called Muktinath.

Muktinath is the very famous tourism Place of Nepal. Muktinath this Sanskrit name itself has religious overtone and a sort of emotional ring to it for the devout Hindus. It is the most valuable place and the location is also too good. There are many way to going in Muktinath. You can go for trekking, go with your vehicle and also available with flight to Jomsom.

Way to go to Muktinath

Option 01: By Road
Muktinath Temple can be accessed by a roadway crossing Beni, Tatopani, Ghasa, Marpha, Jomsom, and Kagbeni.

Option 02: By Flight
Jomsom is the nearer airport to reach Muktinath Temple. You can go to jomsom at first by flight and from them you have to use other vehichle to reached the muktinath temple. To reach the jomsom from kathmandu, first you take a flight to Pokhara, then to Jomsom. Ther is no direct flight to jomsom from kathmandu.

Option 03: By Helicopter
Helicopter is also the way to reach the muktinath. The helipad is located at Ranipauwa. From here the temple can be reached via 30 minutes walking. Perform pooja/darshan at the temple and fly back to Kathmandu.

Option 04: By Trek
Trekking is also the another way to go muktinath temple. It is the best and very advernturous way to reached the Muktinath Temple. Fist get yourself at Pokhara and trek starts from Nayapul following an overnight stay at Tikhedunga, Ghorepani, Tatopani, Ghasa, Marpha, Kagbeni then to Muktinath.

I have also gone to muktinath at trekking and with vehicle also. I am at trekking first time with my friends when I am in Collage, at second I am with my bike with friends. The place is too much beautiful, not only the temple the surrounding view and the mountian give the most valuable view.

Last month, Narendra Modi, Prime minister of our neighbour Country India, came Nepal due to the diplomacy and also visit the Muktinath Temple. The Indian PM Modi took part in the Shodashopachara worship ceremony which involves sixteen ritualistic services and mantra recitations. A Large number of securities personnel were deployed around the temple at the time.
