Two years ago IBM was hired by Australian Government to run the online data collection portal which had major issues leading to IBM agreeing to pay the Australian government Australian $30 million in compensation.
Now after two years it is came to news that IBM signs a $740 Million Blockchain deal with the Australian Government.
Yes, IBM going provide advanced technologies such as Blockchain, automation, and even artificial intelligence to the Australian Government
Harriett Green (IBM’s Asia Pacific head) highlighted that this will rank Australia amongest ‘the top three digital governments in the world' she also added this will rocket Australia towards a ‘paperless future.’
The Australian Government is also going pro blockchain with the DTA (Digital Transformation Agency) ensuring a budget of $530,000 was set aside for Blockchain research.
But but but although Australian Government is taking some massive steps in Crypto-currencies, the Australian Reserve Bank is pretty much sure that Australian Dollar wont be replaced by crypto.
