The left side of your brain (left hemisphere) control the right side of your body; and the right side of your brain (right hemisphere) control the left side of your body.

Your brain is about 2% of your total body weight, but uses 20% of your brains body's energy and oxygen.

Your brain contains about 100 billion neurons, which is about 16 times the number of people on earth or the same number of stars in our galaxy. the brain can only survive 4 to 6 minutes without oxygen, before it stars to die.

Your brains consume 23 watts of power, while you are awake. this amount of energy is enough to illuminate a light bulb. more electrical impulses are generated in one day by single human brain then by all the telephone in the world.

How much does a human brain think? It is estimated that the human brain produces 70000 thoughts on an average day.

For comparison, if your brain worked like a digital video recorder in a television, 2.5 petabytes would be enough to hold three million hours of 300000 million hours of TV shows. you would have to leave the TV running continuously for more than 300 hundred years to use up all that stored energy.
