When the only person you can marry , is yourself...
What do you do when you think you've met the right one? You run away as quickly as possible. At least that's what I tend to do and it's happened not once, but a few times in my life. Let me explain this as best as I can. Love has bitten me in the ass, shoved me in the dirt and bruised my heart numerous times. Why, you ask? I've been asking my self that same question for the past ten years. Everyone out there is looking for their perfect match. Someone who is interested in the same types of movies, music, culture, hobbies, so on, so forth. So you run around, looking for this one, special person and once you think you've found them, your heart gets crushed because guess what? It doesn't exist!!! What every, single one of us is doing, is looking for someone........Just like ourselves. Unless we deveolp new technology that puts our genes into an opposite gender clone, it will never happen. Never, ever, in a million years, happen. I hate to say it, but we are all looking to marry the one person we value the opinion of, trust, and treasure the company of. If you'd like to know who I'm referring to, take a look in the mirror.
Here's the thing. There is no perfect person out there for you, or even for me. This book is not a self-help book, but rather, a book to make you think. Make you sit there, shaking your head saying out loud "She's right, I DO do that!!". Based on experiences from myself, and people that I know, I am going to write this entire book simply from knowledge. We all do not want to keep making the same mistakes over and over now, do we? Example- You're smart, attractive, friendly, easy-going, and, single. Every day you ask yourself, why am I single? Why does it seem like everything I do is never good enough for whomever I am with? So while pondering these thoughts, you decide to go out for a walk. Instead of holding your head up high, you're staring at the ground due to lack of self esteem. While walking and not paying attention, you bump into someone. When you look up, you see this extremely gorgeous person looking right back at you. So what do you do? Of course you apologize for bumping into them, and continue walking away, but before you do, you shoot them your best smile. That is the key right there, that reels them in and they call over to you, to make sure you're alright, and ask if you would like a cup of coffee. Coffee turns into one year of blissful happiness and then...You're sitting here, reading this book. Sound familiar?
