5G Mod coming with Motorola Moto Z3, is it killed mid-range flagship phone?
The Motorola was launched Moto Z3 on Thursday at an event in Chicago, the Motorola headquarters. The new smartphone, which is above the Moto Z3 Play debuted June, comes with a pure stock Android experience. Motorola also continues their Z-series phone of supporting Moto mode through a dedicate pogo-pin connector at the back. Lenovo has additionally partnered with Qualcomm to launch a 5G Moto Mod that will enable the next-generation network.
Alongside announcing the launch of Z3, the company has revealed that there is no plan to bring the anticipated Moto Z3 Force. The smartphone Moto Z3, the company next-generation flagship. However, it is confirmed that no more Z-series model debuted this year. This means, unlike the last year Moto Z series that include Z2 force and Z2 Play, there will be the Moto Z3 and Z3 Play this year.

Similar to the Moto Z3 Play, the Moto Z3 has One Button Nav that offers an iPhone X experience. There is navigation button, which is inspired by navigation experience coming on Android P, allow users to swipe left , right and tap for recent apps, take back and to go home screen. It has a water-repellent P2i coating that is touted to protect the screen from spills.
Motorola has also bought the 5G Moto Mod that is deliver to the next-generation experience on the Moto Z3. However, the Mod is exclusive to Verizon's 5G network.
This flagship runs on Android Oreo 8.1, upgradable to Android P. It contains 6 inch Full HD+ (1080x2160 pixels) AMOLED display with a 18:9 aspect ratio and a 2.5D Corning Gorilla Glass Protection. There is an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor with 4 GB of RAM. The smartphone has a dual camera that includes a 12 megapixel primary sensor with a f/2.0 aperture and a 12-megapixel monochrome sensor-paired with a dual-LED flash. On the front 8-megapixel sensor along with f/2.o aperture and an 84-degree field-of-view. The front camera have face-unlock feature.
The Motorola has provides 64 GB of storage that is expandable via microSD card up to 2 TB. In the terms of connectivity, the Moto Z3 has 4 VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth v5.0, NFC, USB Type-C. The Sensors are include an accelerometer, ambient light, gyroscope, fingerprint sensor (on the right panel), magnetometer and proximity sensor. The Z3 packs with 3000 mAh battery.
Moto Z3 Price
The Moto Z3 price in US has been set at $480. The smartphone will go on sale exclusively through Verizon in Ceramic Black color option starting August 16. Motorola has not revealed the price of 5G Moto Mod, through it has confirm that the new offering will be exclusive to the US in early 2019.
