The Future of Plastic !!

Will there be no plastic in our life again? The answer will be very difficult to find for this. We're already reached the saturation level with says no for this question as an answer. We have already started manufacturing that biodegradable plastics nowadays. We are expecting a chemical called poly lactic acid from jowar which is used to make the plastics these days. From this we have manufacturing bags and the fabric which are used to make the bags. We are using cellulose which is a plant genetic material to manufacture plastic these days this all will be degradable gradually.

Mainly the polyethylene which are used to make plastic bottles are not yet genetically been manufactured. But researches are going on to find an alternate material which could be used for manufacturing an alternative for plastic bottles. Recently pepsi and Coca Cola companies are striving hard to get an alternative for polyethylene. The Braskem Petrochemical company in Brazil is trying to manufacture bottles from sugarcane. But these trees are considered insufficient.

This is the reason why we need to strive hard of reusing plastic. But this business is not as attractive as of recycling a metal, glass and paper. If we belt the plastic it will be in different layers like water or oil and the material what we get from this process will not be strong enough. Only a small amount of plastic can be reused. And the gases which are emitted during these processes or also harmful for the environment. These days plastics are being used with the tar and the roads are made. But the amount of plastic that we are throwing out all the above process are insufficient.

This must be considered high alert and we have to stop using plastics for a better future.
