Strikes at roads

Strike gonna success in our community. The strike called by congress party for the hike of petrol price continuesly. So almost all except the ruling party opposed periodically. But rulers condemned all the objections by giving different reasons for the hikes. The hike is not only for petrol, all the petroleum products getting high rationaly.

So the Indian congress president called strikes on road throughout the country. As in my town the strikes called by the local leaders and made it success and in peace as they stated.

But my question is the so called strikes on the road are fruitful or Worthy? Is that meant for the general citizen? By this type of strikes general citizens suffer a lot. Those who are traveling just struck on the way and wasted time. Most business affect. Urgent works by the people stopped. Official works stopped due to this. If we keep account might be a huge loss for the country in terms of money and time. May the party people did their duty for their party but huge loss for the country collectively.

Some knowledgeable persons suggesting to strike at the office or work place of objects not at roads school college offices. By this the strikes may affect and the time and money of the community.

And I also want to the abroad friends the petrol and diesel prices are about $1.3 per litter. Please be stated your rates. So that we can compare.
