History – On 1st June 1976, Shri Hari Dev Joshi, the Chief Minister of Rajasthan at that time, inaugurated this grand theatre. The first film to be screened here was the Bollywood flick “Charas”. In 1966, the Chief Minister of Rajasthan, RajMandir was more of a dream Project. It was his dream to build a grand beautiful entertainment spot which can be the best example of Modern and Stylish Jaipur.

Structural planning – Rajmandir is popular all over the world for its super stylish architecture and royal structure and design. Apart from watching movies, its extraordinary look and elegant style also attract tourists from all over the world to here. It is more of the Pride of India and has also received various awards which makes it a must visit place for tourists. Every year, thousands of tourists visit this place and enjoy somuch.

The inner part of the theatre is even more stunning. One might be stunned by observing the extravagantly finished roof. This beautiful place The hall resembles a royal palace with grand Chandeliers dangling from the main theatre.

The Raj Mandir Cinema is prepared to screen 70mm movies, The seating capacity of the theater of about 1300 people which makes it one of the biggest halls in India. There are 4 categories namely Pearl, Ruby. Emerald and Diamond, among which this seating capacity is divided. The main hall is decorated with the curtains which are draped in velvet.
