With roots dating back to pre-Hispanic times, the traditional Lottery game was popularized in Mexico with the arrival of the French businessman Clemente Jacques, who in 1877 began to market items as varied as corks for bottles, pellets, Seeds, canned food and even cards and invitations for social events.
