RE: The City of the Gods

in #mexico4 years ago

Cool pictures. However, the following is ridiculous:

Teotihuacán is said to predate the Aztec empire, who called it "the City of the Gods". I think the"gods" they referred to were extraterrestrials and that they, along with other pre-Hispanic peoples, had contact with them.
Extraterrestrials likely gave the indigenous peoples the gifts of mathematics and astronomy, among others.

It's belittingly and insulting to the creators of the pyramids and their ancestors to assume that they were unable to do this without alien technology.

Sort:

Alien technology likely wasn't needed to build the pyramids themselves.

So what was the point of adding aliens into all of this? They had their own religion and technology. It seems that other Indians just said that the place was built for the Gods. Sure it is impressive, but it's not extraterrestrial impressive.

The Mayans, for example, had observatories from which they viewed the constellations and could predict solar eclipses.

Lot's of societies managed this without extraterrestrial help. Why did they require it?
