Metro station Lermontovsky Prospekt
"You have cheap or go?" - "I would drive transport with beautiful checkered"...
The Moscow metro. Transportation, to which all concerned! His love and abuse. Some are happy its construction, and the other almost a war against the building ready to start. For the construction of the station Lermontovsky Prospekt was also a struggle. The station is located in a very sought after area on the same Avenue stretching into the region. By their design, she planned a bright spot, but out of this something not the most interesting.
Originally the station was supposed to be closer to Moscow, becoming the ultimate Tagansko-Krasnopresnenskaya line. Could it become a station of light metro by analogy with the Butovo line. But everything turned out differently. Located on plz Lermontovsky Prospekt and Khvalynsky Boulevard station a couple of years will be the second ring road underground interchange station.

The station did get a few bright spots on the ceiling, which go from green to red. In the centre of some mirrors with indicators.

To me this solution seemed interesting in draft form. The reality was worse. The station dark and empty.

When there are no trains, additional color revives a little visible. And thanks to the person who took a picture of me. Maybe send me a picture? Or maybe I'm already in his black list?

Lermontovsky Prospekt metro finally appeared on 9 November 2013, despite all the problems in the construction of tunnels to him. In the future, in the Western part of the station will transition to the Kosino station of the Kozhukhovskaya line. Perhaps this will be another easy to transfer from commuter trains of the Kazan direction. At least I certainly hope so.

Meanwhile, it was one of the experiments with bright colors in the design of the stations. If he's successful in your opinion?
