RE: If You're Almost Raped but Never Tell Anyone About It, Does It Still Make a Sound?

in #metoo7 years ago

Im so sorry you had to go through that experience at such a young age and you still carried the burden of the experience around for so long. If you really look around you will find that a lot of women have been sexually harassed or raped but keep quiet about it cause of fear of what society will think of them. But im glad that things are changing now, women are coming forward with their stories and getting the help they need. I recently saw a video online in which an organisation was teaching girls self defense and boys to respect a girls choice and not harm girls. that to me is a sign of change. Im glad you wrote this post. I recently wrote a short story about rape also, trying to do the little i can to show people that it can happen to anyone and we need to support the victims and teach future generations that it is wrong. My prayers are with you dear

Thank you for your thoughts and support. It is good to hear that organizations are teaching boys to respect girls more. Do you know any more about their methods?
