What if lightning doesn't form in clouds, but clouds form in electrical discharges

I've contemplated the idea that cells "refine" water into hydroxide ions. It might sound like a strange proposition, they would have around 140 mMol/L OH-, equivalent to a pOH of around 1. Anyway, I then wondered "where do all the hydrogen ions go"? This could be explained by that they're absorbed into the atmosphere, it could be a H+ sink for land life as lots of hydrogen ions would be released during embryogenesis when the newly created cells are "loaded" with hydroxide for the first time (after that, it is recycled, back and forth. ) What happens to all the H+ in the atmosphere then? For one, it might be providing the positive charge in that air, that promotes surface tension from the gel water layer on water surfaces. Then, in electrical discharge regions such as a thunderstorm, 4 electrons + 4 hydrogen ions + oxygen gas, creates water. This water then rains down on us.

It seems pretty clear that clouds could form from electrical discharge of air with hydrogen ions and oxygen gas in it, since jet exhaust is clouds, formed from H2 and O2, and, 2 H+ and 2 e- forms H2.
