What is Time?

What is Time?

We could say that it is merely the changing of all things physical, bodies age and mountains erode over time. Houses fall into disrepair and tectonic plates slowly move. Time occurs to many things on many levels.

Time is dependent on how we look at it, it's dependent on some frame of reference which we could call a 'time scale'. For a human being the time scale seems to be relative to how fast our heart beats, and also how long our bodies live for.

What if we were drastically wrong about how long our bodies could live for? What if we were drastically wrong about time in general? What if time is not linear A to B, but more 'parallel' and all around? What if perception was more powerful than time?

I want to ask these questions and a whole lot more as well. We live in a world of assumptions, and living by these assumptions creates that reality for us. We are too willing to accept so many systems just handed to us. Are these not just approximations and even deliberate distortions?

Get up, go to work, come home, take a shower, go on the internet, talk with your friends, do chores, go to sleep, do it again. This is a time cycle, it's happening over and over again - yet no day is the same. That would be impossible. So this time is occuring, but to whom is time occuring?

Even more pressing, if we are able to observe the changes of time, then from what perspective do we claim to see this? From an equally unstable changing perspective?

Perhaps we see all of these time based changes from a place which its self is timeless, yet has somehow lost its self in time.

Look into this, only time will tell.

Much Love
