#MetaHash Starts Forging Test
#MetaHash is pleased to announce the test release of Forging — the evolutionary form of mining and a new concept of protecting the network consensus based on proof of stake rather than proof of work. Featuring such indisputable advantages as scalability, speed, considerably lower hardware requirements and expenses, and attractively higher and more fair rewards, Forging is now considered as the most effective approach capable to push blockchains for massive adoption.
The test release of Forging at #MetaHash is aimed at testing the basic functioning and starting from today offers all crypto enthusiasts an opportunity to test their resources and check the set-ups. Whether #MetaHash forgers will be using wallets in #MetaGate, setting up proxy nodes via servers, or delegating coins the test is a great chance to get ready into full force prior to the official release and supporting the network’s functioning which includes #MetaHashCoins rewards distribution.
In #MetaHash 50 percent of all rewards for forging are distributed among the #MHC owners, 40 percent are granted to the nodes’ owners and the remaining 10 percent are earmarked for rewarding the active users of the #MetaGate browser and #MetaWallet. Coin holders can also entrust their voting rights to their own nodes or may pass their voting rights to a trusted node operator for a share of the commission.
Please note, that to get rewards you need to have your #MetaWallet running as long as possible with a minimum of 4 hours per day.

- You can forge via: active #MetaWallet, Proxy Node, coins delegation
- Rewards: 10% — to owners of active wallets, 40% — to owners of proxy nodes, 50% — to those who delegated their coins
- Rewards are granted once per 24 hours
- To forge you need to have not less than 100 #MHC
