The tech behemoth Sony gave a sneak peek of the metaverse experience it is creating with the soccer team Manchester City at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2023.

Players will be able to interact with events at a virtual replica of the team's Etihad Stadium with their own personalised avatars thanks to this "proof of concept" (PoC) experience from Sony and Manchester City, according to The Verge.

Virtual avatars may be seen running around the stadium and field, dancing, and having a good time in an official film released by "Sony-Global."
