Mermaid Monday contest week 25 theme: ⚪🔹🔸🔷⚫⚪magic🔸⚫& 🕸🕷halloween🕷🕸
Hello Steemian friends, here’s my entry for this weeks “Mermaid Monday Contest Week #25 - Theme : Magic & Halloween.”
This was great fun to draw, and I thought a long orange haired mermaid witch, would be an appropriate image to create for Halloween. Of course she would have to have her trusty black cat near by, and a pumpkin 🎃 or two, to give it that Halloween feel. This was all digitally drawn with my iPad Procreate App using an airbrush tool. I hope you enjoyed my artwork, now here is a few process drawings.
I DREW OUT THE PUMPKIN 🎃 FIRST-
STARTED SKETCHING MY MERMAID 🧜♀️ PERCHED ON TOP OF MY PUMPKIN 🎃-
I ADD MY CAT INTO THE DRAWING, AND THEN BEGIN TO APPLY COLORS-
I FINISH THE OVERALL DRAWING, EXCEPT FOR ADDING A FEW HIGHLIGHTS, AND SHADOWS-
LAST BUT NOT LEAST... I DECIDE IT NEEDS SOMETHING ELSE , TWO SPIDERS AND A SPIDERWEB 🕷 🕷 OUGHT TO DO IT ... YES... FINALLY FINISHED !

Well hi friend, I’ve been gone for several days on a camping trip, how ya doing? I’ll have to check out your blog to see what your up to. Thanks for stopping by, I only do progress drawings if the contest calls for me to do so, this particular contest is about the only one that does. And I usually just draw for contests, nothing else, there fun, it’s like an addictive game with me HA HA❣️

The mermaids out of the water, I was going to put her sitting on a ocean rock shaped like a pumpkin 🎃 with a scary looking face and all, but I thought I’d like this better, kind of odd! Rick and I went on a camping trip these past few days so I’ve been away from Steemit, bless you brother ❣️
