Greetings Friends of Steemit!
This is my entry to the contest Mermaid Monday contest week 21:, Organized by @nymia.aryn.
I want to express with this drawing my gratitude @lildebbiecakes for helping fund Mermaid Monday, it is one of my favorite contests and I could not pass the opportunity to also thank @nymia.aryn for carrying out this beautiful contest Monday to Monday!

2h graphite pencil
Black pen
Erase
Sharpener
Crayons
Drawing Process
First step
Make the sketch
Second step
Begin to make the edges and shadows with extrafine marker and black pen.
Third step
I began to paint the hair with violet dark blue and turquoise green with crayons; then apply violet shadow and skin color on the face and body; The tail of the mermaid is made with the following colors: red, orange fuchsia touches and yellow and orange fins.
Fourth step
Finish with the drawing making the background to give the effect of the water with the technique of sharpening my crayons turquoise green and light blue; The bubbles are made with cold white paint.

Something about the aesthetics in the face and hair really charmed me in this mermaid. It reminds me of the WWII era cartoon illustrations on advertisements. Where have I seen that tail before? Oh yeah... Splash! ;)
