Mystic mermaid

Birth of a new soul:

Ah, the birth of a new soul, so romantic, so much potential and who knows what this new soul will be: perhaps a mousy tung of the fire brigade who will get up in the morning to go to work for 60 years and maybe will to sleep when it is time to live, and live when it is time to go to sleep.

Who knows what this soul will be: maybe a scientist who will go into space and get lost in the stars and find a way back through the sun to show the rest of us how to get there easily…or maybe the new soul will be a mermaid eating salad:

Salad:

Swam to the mermaid market and bought a big bowl of fresh salad stuff and then washed it all after I got home. Cut the lettuce into small pieces and put it in a bowl and then cut up tomato, cucumber, onion, celery, mushrooms and spring onions and mixed it all up and then sprinkled assorted seeds and a bag of mixed nuts into it. Then poured cracked black pepper dressing all over it and mixed it all up. Then I enjoyed it a whole lot. Good for me too.

Mystic mermaid:

I hide here where nobody can find me in plain sight of all to see but it’s strange to know I know that everything has got me to here, there again the China cross is not vintage clothing as far as I’m concerned and ask me not why.

So here I am a swimming in the sea and I have a wireless for all to see that I drag behind me and now and again I crank it up and say: CQ calling, etc.

But not today; today I’m just drifting and eating tuna salad and drinking coffee from my favourite island cafe.

I’m quite content to be alone most of the time but I do have friends and they’re all around me and all I have to do is speak and someone answers me and I never know who it will be.

It’s a big ocean full of emptiness when I want, and at other times it is full of news, and ghosts there are too a plenty.

It’s started to rain and I don’t want my hair getting mussed up so I’m off to the ocean floor to an old sunken ship full of treasure where I will take cover until the rain stops.
