MercuriEx Under New Ownership

Mercuriex Cryptocurrency Exchange has been sold by Fusiontree LLC (USA) to SurfTheWeb Ltd (UK)

This article contains important information for existing and new users.

At the end of 2019 MercuriEx Exchange went offline without warning, this was due to an unintended overlap in services between Fusiontree and SurfTheWeb whilst the sale was being processed. As soon as the purchase was complete and ownership was transferred to SurfTheWeb (STW) we brought all services back online.

Throughout January we have carried out required maintenance and extensive testing of all services on the exchange, including deposits, withdrawals, and trading and we are pleased to say that all services are working correctly and the exchange is fully functional.

The most important message we have for old users is that your FUNDS ARE SAFE.

If you had funds held on the exchange at the time of services going offline, those funds will still be in your account and accessible to you.

When ownership was transferred, we did receive some reports of deposits and withdrawals that were not processed at the end of 2019.
As part of our maintenance on the wallet services, any outstanding withdrawals and deposits should not be processed.
If you find any problems, please do log in to your account and submit a support ticket.

We have some exciting plans for the future of the exchange, including;
Re-branding in early 2020,
Our own Exchange Utility Token (EUT),
Lowered Trading Fees (COMPLETED: Lowered fees from 0.5% to 0.2% for all users), Discounted Trading Fees (if users opt to use the EUT),
0% Maker-Fee (T&C will apply, EUT will be required for eligibility) more info will follow,
