Indonesian Surf Trip

If you ever decide to go on a surf trip and want to see empty line ups with world class waves, I would highly recommend visiting to the Mentawai Islands. This was my first time traveling to this area and I have never been to a more pristine place in my life. There are many world class waves that are located just a boat ride away from each other. If one is not working due to tide, swell direction, or wind, you can always motor around to the the other side of the island or an neighboring one and score perfect waves.

Even if you are not surfer, exploring the islands and seeing the natural beauty of the area is amazing. There is much more than surfing when you visit the Mentawai Islands.

If you are looking for a new place to go for holiday or are seeking a new surf adventure I place the Mentawai Islands at the the top of the list.
