I'm back...

I took a rather long break from cryptocurrencies--over a year. Mostly a lot of life stuff happening and it simply became a low priority.

What brought me back was updating all my records so my new CPA could file the tax return. I had to check the steemit wallet to get the most updated balance.

It occurred to me while doing so that I could start posting on Steemit again. About a year and a half ago I discovered the mental health community on Quora. I began by reading answers to questions I was interested in. Then I found the various spaces and eventually created my own space, which got to be rather popular. Considering I did nothing to promote it other than occasionally mentioning it when it was relevant, it gained a lot of traction.

And today it occurred to me that I could mirror some of the Quora content right here on Steemit. So... that's what I plan to do... and we'll see what happens. I haven't decided if I'm going to just jump in where I'm at or try to go back to older Quora posts. Probably a bit of both. I'm going to have to get back up to speed on Markdown so I can format things better and provide links and photos, but I'll get back up to speed.

While I have occasionally mentioned cryptocurrencies on Quora, that has not been my focus. My focus there has been mental health and spirituality, for the most part chronicling my own journey of healing. So... all of you who followed me for the cryptocurrency content... this represents a rather big change.

On the other hand... it's also a sign of integrating my life. I have this background in cryptocurrencies. I've gone back and forth about whether I want to stay involved or liquidate all my holdings and close out that chapter of my life. And then... I got to checking Steemit for my wallet balances... and I realized this could be the perfect platform to integrate my interest in cryptocurrencies with where I'm at in life now. Writing has always been something I enjoyed. And Steemit could make it potentially lucrative. I'm not sure how well the reward system works now, but I figure it's worth experimenting with.

I look forward to spending a bit more time on Steemit.
