We were told by our local shop, owned by a longtime family friend, that gold was too soft for rings worn daily. They weren't "lying", as they believed it to be true. We did make a trip to show off our Mene bands (and buy my mom a set of itsy-bitsy diamond earrings for her birthday).

We've been wearing them constantly since the Spring, and they are awesome. Keep on screaming from the roofs of the internet. We, and others like us, appreciate having found a place to buy something real.
