The other day I went to buy my husband a trousers. It is a hard thing to do, because he is pretty thin. So, I went to a few men stores. First, it was almost impossible to find a color that was not 'united colors of Benetton'. I know that he wouldn't wear yellow trousers even if his life depended on it. Jeans are ok, but I was looking for something more sophisticated.
I finally found something I thought he could wear on some occasions.
I got home with my happy face on. When he tried these trousers, I couldn't stop laughing.

He had this 'how could you buy me something like this' look on his face and immediately said he is officially gay now.
Not to be offended, gay is ok, but he did look at least funny. A very narrow model that narrows down pointing his legs like wearing tights.
The point was this was manliest trousers I could find.
*Ok, it might have been my fault, maybe I didn't know the right store. I must say, I'm not really a fashion lover. I don't give a shit, as long as you are ok, you could as much wear a garbage bag, for I'm concern.

But this is not just some joke, we have here famous brands like Gucci and Burberry.
You really think someone will give a pretty large sum of money looking like this?!

The other thing I notice these days is that men take care of themselves so much. I mean hygiene is preferable, working out too, but to have more cosmetic preparations than me, it is not a good sign.
You can wax your eyebrows only if you have one eyebrow and shave your legs only if you are a professional swimmer, on other occasions, it is just not allowed :))

I don't know about you but I like when men wear a 'manly style', have beard, unbrushed hair and not so soft hands. I like when men are more men than I am.

We are finally getting somewhere, men are not afraid to show emotions, it is not acceptable to beat your wife anymore (although I can't believe it was ever a subject of discussion), nowadays men are changing diapers and participate in child's life. But all this was not supposed to change the main characteristic of being a man - to be manly!

Ok, I just needed to write this because I guess we confused our men with this story about the importance of emancipation. Of course it is importaint not to make any differencies between men and women in crutial subjects. But we don't have to look alike. Maybe we forgot to mention - we want to leave you something so you could feel like a real man, so, please let that be manly style. :D
