Some Of My Pictures And The Story Behind Them

Hey Steemians. How are you today? So i have decided to share some of my pictures and their stories with you. I hope You find it worth reading.

My mum recently celebrated freedom for her apprentice. I dont know if they do it in other countries but in my country, when people graduate from where they learnt trade. They celebrate what they call freedom. They normally celebrate it like they do other celebrations like christening , wedding e.t.c. I t is common among the yoruba people in Nigeria and there is always a lot to eat and drink depending on the financial capability of the master and the apprentice. It was fun and i ate till i could barely work. hahahahahaha

I took this picture our muslim brothers and sisters were having their celebration. The owner is my friend and he wanted to sell it. He thought i was gonna buy so he brought it to my house. I wanted to buy but it was expensive and at the same time i buy smaller goats. I wanted to have a memory of the ram so i took a picture with it.

i was called out in my church with a friend of mine. We were supposed to collect our certificate of baptism but the preacher decided to give us a word of advice before giving the certificate of baptism. It is in our culture that you bow your head when an adult is talking to you.

i was down with cold. It wasnt that much but i could not go out throughout that day. I decided to take a selfie and upload it on fb for well wishes.

Anytime i see this picture i always laugh. This happened at a green farm i was working before. I guess the snake died inside the green farm. I dont know the cause of the death. We planted tomatoes in the section i was working so a friend of mine who is also a worker there took a tomato and fixed it in the mouth of the snake. he wanted to deceive us in to believing that the snake died as it was trying to swallow the tomato. Some of the workers actually believed that story but as a sharp guy that i am, i couldnt have believed because snakes do not eat tomatoes. I decided to snap it and upload it on fb for fun.

Here is a picture of the green farm i was working. We were in the sorting room where we sort the tomatoes and keep them in the storage room until they are taking to the market. After harvest, tomatoes should not use more than two days in the storage room or it will get spoiled.

Thats me with the dab. It was a football match between the old corpers vs the new corpers then. I was among the new corpers. I just joined the nysc then. The picture was taking before the match, it wouldnt have happened if it were to be after the match because we lost the match. They showed that they were better than us. IT was a three 3-1 fro the old corpers

I dont know why i am not always ashamed of the works i do. Here is a picture of me cooking noddles for sale. My school hosted a retreat because it was a christian school, baptist to be precise. A lot of people came and i thought it was an opportunity for me to make money. So i decided to be the noodles man A lot of them were surprised seeing a corper selling noodles. They felt it was downgrading. even if it was ion care as long as earn decently out of it. I prefer to take up a shameful job to taking up an illegal one. It was fun actually and i earned a few bucks.......

Thats me standing near a drawing of my beloved country Nigeria. It was in the compound of the school i served during NYSC. The painting was my appreciation to the school for their kindness. And it was an act of generosity for me as previous corpers did not do anything for the school. I anted to leave a legacy and at the same time make the school more beautiful. I did not make the painting because i dont know how to but i paid to get the job done

While graduating from NYSC, one of the classes i taught appreciated me by giving out gifts to me.. they are all beautiful and wonderful kids. I miss them all.

A picture of me while i was recording a song in a studio. I will not like to regard myself as a musician because i am not good at making music and i am not doing it for commercial purposes. Even though i dont know how to sing properly, i still do it regardless of what people will say about it because it is what i love doing and i derive joy in it.

A picture of my sister and i during her convention as a Rev sister. I was not happy when she made the decision to become a Rev sister as i would have loved to play with her kids in the future but she decided to serve God in the Catholic way. I cried actually but go over it as her mind was made up on it regarding the issue. Now here i am celebrating her first vow with her.

A picture of me while i was still a Man O War member during my school days. Man O war then was sometimes interesting and sometimes difficult because of the rigorous and vigorous training we had to go through. The gyration and the outings always made it interesting as there were always plenty to drink.
